A delegation of All Pakistan Fertilizer Dealers Association called on the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain.
A delegation of All Pakistan Fertilizer Dealers Association (APFDA) under the leadership of Chairman, Mr. Ghulam Ahmed, called on the Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain, in Islamabad. APFDA apprised the Federal Minister about the concerns of retailers on the implementation of withholding tax on sales and asked for support from the Minister for Industries and Production to take up the matter with the relevant authorities to support the fertilizer industry. Rana Tanveer Husain said that the Government is committed to support the fertilizer industry for the betterment of farmers but increasing the tax base to generate revenue for the country is also the top priority of the Government. He further added that the APFDA's proposal will be submitted to the authorities concerned for consideration.
