Rana Tanveer Hussain congratulated Pak Suzuki Motor Company for achieving the historic milestone of producing 25 lakh vehicles. He praised the Suzuki management for maintaining affordable prices without compromising on quality. He further said that the quality of Suzuki is much better than the companies operating in the neighboring countries and its price is also lower.

While appreciating the role of Pak Suzuki in exporting vehicles to Bangladesh and other countries, the Federal Minister recognized the role of Suzuki in contributing to the economic development and motor industry of Pakistan and emphasized that Suzuki has to increase exports. The product needs to be exhibited abroad.

In response to a question, he said that the Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif's efforts in the previous Government were to prevent economic default. Under this Government, the focus is on economic recovery but despite the problems faced by this Government, we are trying to mitigate the hardships of the Industry.” The Hon'ble Minister assured the Motor Industry that the Government is meeting their concerns. It is aware and trying hard to solve these problems.

On the occasion of his visit to Pak Suzuki, the Minister inaugurated the Motor Export Plant and the Vendor Cluster Area Plant separately. He was accompanied by Mr. Saif Anjum, Secretary MoIP, Mr. Khuda Baksh, CEO EDB, Mr. Hiroshi Kawamura, CEO Pak Suzuki and other Officials of Suzuki.

Pak Suzuki CEO, Mr. Hiroshi Kawamura, highlighted the milestone of Suzuki to export vehicles to Afghanistan and Bangladesh. He acknowledged the Minister's continued support and guidance for the Motor Industry. He vowed to increase local content in vehicles to boost the national economy and sought cooperation from the Government, buyers and company workers.
