INTRODUCTION:
State Engineering Corporation, having its registered office in Islamabad, is proud to be the mother of heavy engineering sector of the country. Established in 1973, as public sector entity under the administrative control of Ministry of Industries & Production, Government of Pakistan. nourished engineering sector of Pakistan, both in private and public sector under its arms. State Engineering Corporation, continues playing its role of achieving import substitution, self-reliance and industrial indigenization. at a time controlled and managed 13 heavy and light engineering units but due to privatization, transfer and de-nationalization of units, now looking after affairs of the following 2 engineering units.
Conducted 887 training programs and trained 12,431 students in Mining Techniques, Gem Cutting and Gem Faceting, Gem Identification, Jewellery Designing.
18 faculty members were trained as Master Trainers in the fields of Gemology, Gems Processing, Jewellery Designing and Jewellery Manufacturing whereas 2 professionals of Assaying and Hallmarking centres of PGJDC received training from Goldsmiths Company Assay Office London.
With a rich average experience of more than 40 years have developed a strong base for the design, engineering and manufacturing of variety of light, medium and heavy engineering products.
